Wine Chambers Restaurant and Wedding Venue is situated in the historic General Buildings at 29-33 Shortland Street in Auckland’s CBD.
The building was originally built to house Yorkshire General Insurance in 1928. It was famed for its use of palatial and local marble and bronze, being
the first centrally heated building in the country.
These factors are very much still in evidence today, with Wine Chambers offering you an elegant and grand setting for the more intimate wedding.
With the recent opening of the sophisticated Chambers Bar on the lower ground floor of the General Building, we can now offer you the addition of a chic and stylish venue
for both pre dinner drinks and after dinner dancing.
