About Wine Chambers.
Wine Chambers Restaurant is situated in the historic General Buildings at 29-33 Shortland Street in Auckland’s CBD.
The building was originally built to house Yorkshire General Insurance in 1928. It was famed for its use of palatial and local marble and bronze, being the first centrally heated building in the country.
These factors are very much still in evidence today, with Wine Chambers offering you an elegant and grand setting for your special event.
Wine Chambers Cuisine is modern European with Kiwi influence. Our menu changes constantly with the seasons and we source only the finest ingredients; never compromising on quality.
The menu is designed to suit a variety of tastes.
Wine Chambers has an extensive wine list with wines sourced predominantly from New Zealand with a range of wines from Australia and Europe.
We are constantly on the hunt for exciting new wines, all which pair well with our menu, or on their own for those moments you just want to relax and enjoy a glass or two.
Our staff are highly trained and can be relied on to give you the best information.
